This CNC retrofit is designed specifically for Bridgeport Boss Series I & II knee mills. We have more experience retrofitting Bridgeport Boss’ than any other control manufacturer.

We have kits available for every version Boss control made. For Boss 1-7 equipped mills, our retrofit kit includes 3 brand new servomotors with 2000 line encoders. The end result is smooth, continuous 3-axis motion. And up to 8x the accuracy of your original control. You’ll be able to perform operations that simply weren’t possible with the Boss control!

For Boss 8-12 controls, you can reuse your existing servomotors and save over a thousand dollars! Simply replace the low-resolution encoders with our 2000 line units and dramatically increase the speed, performance, and accuracy of your machine.

Both Boss kits include our Boss Speed Control option, which allows you to retain the stock spindle speed and brake control. A special PLC program is also included so no programming is required on your part at all. A Boss specific wiring schematic is also included to greatly simplify the installation.
